”With Kirsty’s help and strategies, after only 1 session and 2 weeks we saw better results for our son than over 2 years of speech therapy! 100% will be recommending Kirsty to other parents. Looking forward to booking more sessions”

Welcome

Hi, I’m Kirsty — a Certified Parent Coach with Distinction, with over 10 years of experience as an Early Years Practitioner, and the proud mum of a minimally speaking, autistic 5-year-old.

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Understanding Autism and am trained in Sensory Modulation and Integration, Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), and DIR® Floortime. My work is rooted in the deep belief that every child is already communicating — and that when parents feel supported and confident, beautiful things happen.

While I specialise in coaching families of autistic and neurodivergent children, I also work with neurotypical families who want to feel more confident, connected, and equipped in their parenting.

I offer support for families with children who are:

  • Minimally speaking or non-speaking
  • Sensory-sensitive or sensory-seeking
  • Using or exploring AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication)
  • Navigating behaviour, routines, and connection at home

What I offer:

  • 1:1 Parent Coaching Sessions — personalised guidance to help you feel confident, supported, and equipped.
  • Practical, everyday strategies — tailored to your child’s communication style, sensory needs, and developmental stage.
  • Neurodiversity-affirming resources — tools, visuals, and activity ideas to make life easier and more joyful.
  • Emotional support for parents — because your wellbeing matters just as much as your child’s progress.

I understand the challenges because I’ve lived them. I know the overwhelm of navigating services, the frustration of not feeling heard, and the ache of wanting the world to understand your child the way you do. My coaching is about walking beside you — so you never have to figure it out alone.

“I believe in meeting children where they are — not where they are expected to be.” 🤎

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes your approach different?

What makes my approach different is that I sit at the intersection of professional expertise and lived experience. I don’t just understand autism from textbooks or training—I live it, every day, as a parent. I combine evidence-based methods like DIR® Floortime and NLA with real-world strategies that actually work for families in the moment. My coaching is gentle, neurodiversity-affirming, and deeply personalised. I focus on building relationships, not routines; connection over compliance. I work alongside parents with empathy, not instruction—because I believe you are the expert on your child, and I’m here to support you in trusting that, too.

How do you support neurodivergent children?

I support autistic and neurodivergent children through play-based, connection-first approaches that honour their unique ways of communicating, learning, and experiencing the world. Using DIR® Floortime, Natural Language Acquisition, and sensory integration strategies, I meet children where they are—supporting regulation, communication, and confidence at their own pace. I focus on strengthening the parent-child relationship, because when you feel empowered, your child feels safe to grow.

Can parents be involved in the learning process?

Yes — in fact, parent involvement is essential. I believe parents are not just part of the team; they are the heart of it. When parents are included, supported, and empowered, children feel safer, more connected, and more open to learning. I work closely with parents throughout the process—coaching you in real time, modelling strategies, and helping you understand your child’s communication, sensory needs, and emotional development. Together, we create meaningful, practical ways to support your child in everyday life—because the most powerful learning happens in moments of real connection, not just in therapy sessions.
