Struggling to understand your child’s communication, behaviour, or needs?

I help parents of autistic children feel confident, clear, and supported — with strategies that actually work at home.

Welcome

You might be here because something doesn’t feel right…

You’ve been told to “wait and see” but your gut is telling you there’s more going on.

Your child is communicating, but you don’t always understand what they mean.

Or maybe they’re not speaking yet, and you don’t know how to help.

Or maybe their diet is minimal and you don’t know where to turn.

You’re trying everything… googling, asking, watching videos, and still feeling unsure what actually works for your child.

You might feel like you’re constantly second guessing yourself.

Or like everyone else understands your child better than you do.

You don’t need more generic advice.

You need someone to actually explain what’s going on, in a way that makes sense.

And that is where I come in 🤎

Not sure where to start? Start here.

If you’re feeling unsure what to do next, my £16 personalised support plan is the best place to begin.

You’ll get clear, tailored strategies based on your child, so you can stop guessing and start feeling confident.

I only open a limited amount of spots a week to keep them personalised so don’t miss out.

Here’s what other parents have said after working with me

Hi, I’m Kirsty.

I’m a Certified Parent Coach (with distinction), with over 10 years of experience as an Early Years Practitioner, and I’m also a mum to a minimally speaking, autistic child.

So this isn’t just something I’ve studied… it’s something I live every day.

I hold a Level 3 qualification in Understanding Autism and have additional training in Sensory Modulation and Integration, Natural Language Acquisition (NLA), and DIR® Floortime. But more importantly, my work is built around one core belief:

Your child is already communicating - we just need to understand how.

I mainly support families of autistic and neurodivergent children, but I also work with parents who simply want to feel more confident, connected, and clear in how they support their child.

I can help if your child is:

  • Minimally speaking or non-speaking
  • Sensory-seeking or sensory-sensitive
  • Using or exploring AAC
  • Struggling with routines, behaviour, or connection at home
  • EHCP’s

And I don’t just give advice, I help you understand what’s actually going on, so you can respond in a way that works for your child.

That might look like:

  • 1:1 parent coaching sessions with personalised guidance
  • Practical strategies you can use in real life (not just theory)
  • Neurodiversity affirming tools and ideas
  • Support for you as a parent, because this is a lot to carry on your own

I know how overwhelming this can feel.

Trying to navigate support, not feeling heard, constantly questioning if you’re doing the right thing…

That’s why I do what I do.

Because when you understand your child, everything starts to feel a little bit easier.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes your approach different?

What makes my approach different is that I sit at the intersection of professional expertise and lived experience. I don’t just understand autism from textbooks or training—I live it, every day, as a parent. I combine evidence-based methods like DIR® Floortime and NLA with real-world strategies that actually work for families in the moment. My coaching is gentle, neurodiversity-affirming, and deeply personalised. I focus on building relationships, not routines; connection over compliance. I work alongside parents with empathy, not instruction—because I believe you are the expert on your child, and I’m here to support you in trusting that, too.

How do you support neurodivergent children?

I support autistic and neurodivergent children through play-based, connection-first approaches that honour their unique ways of communicating, learning, and experiencing the world. Using DIR® Floortime, Natural Language Acquisition, and sensory integration strategies, I meet children where they are—supporting regulation, communication, and confidence at their own pace. I focus on strengthening the parent-child relationship, because when you feel empowered, your child feels safe to grow.

Can parents be involved in the learning process?

Yes — in fact, parent involvement is essential. I believe parents are not just part of the team; they are the heart of it. When parents are included, supported, and empowered, children feel safer, more connected, and more open to learning. I work closely with parents throughout the process—coaching you in real time, modelling strategies, and helping you understand your child’s communication, sensory needs, and emotional development. Together, we create meaningful, practical ways to support your child in everyday life—because the most powerful learning happens in moments of real connection, not just in therapy sessions.
